Very sweet reminiscence


and I will say, nicely composed.

Ken Burns has done his job then, allowing you to explore with an open mind. You don't have to like it afterwards, but he - and you - gave yourself a chance to like it.

I'm not sure this isn't "must see tv" With all the culture wars going on these days, there are plenty that despise CM "just because" but watching this series you can see a lot of these people were dirt poor - like real dirt back then - and what might seem corny to us now is really as soulful and authentic music as anything that has ever been produced.
